Its popularity is undeniable!
And that’s reflected in our broad selection at MBS. We stock nearly 500 varieties at any given time, and strive to keep a balance between trends and traditions. A major player in the industry are craft beers. They make up a big part of our portfolio and the domestic market, and they’re known for their superior quality, uniqueness and appeal to local crowds. The American craft beer movement gained strength in the 1980s and has grown into a larger version of itself, but still adheres to the “better is better” philosophy. The “craft” designation doesn’t come from the volume produced, but from the standard of quality they meet. That group includes IPAs, ranging from fruity to malty to dark and containing a higher alcohol content. IPAs are always made with hops. The terms micro and macro brewery refer only to the volume of product they produce, and not the quality of ingredients or the techniques used in the brewing.
Our inventory also boasts a wide range favorite domestic and imported beers along with seasonal varieties, typically brewed to coincide with a particular season or holiday. And Bombers, a term used to refer to larger 22oz bottles sold as singles (rather than typical 12oz)A

Great selection of wine and beer and the prices are slightly cheaper than what you’ll find in Pennsylvania. They had some selections of drinks I haven’t seen anywhere else, for example, individual bottles of Bloody Mary’s. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.””

“Great selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Had many winter beers, beers from smaller breweries, Sagamore rye from Baltimore, and options for every liquor and mixer you could want. Convenient and not too far from the grocery store for when you’re running out to get the essentials. They carried George’s Bloody Mary mix which we love, but even better a new version that we hadn’t seen before, George’s Old Bay.”
